Good Neighbors

Reserva Conchal is aware that no business can be really successful unless it includes as part of its culture two priorities: a green heart, and genuine interest in the community that surrounds them. Our company cannot grow if our workers, their families and neighbors don´t have a personal and professional drive to improve their quality of life, taking care of areas such as health, education and home shelter.

This is why our Department for Community Relations and the Environment, in collaboration with the Fundación Florida, has been developing social programs with the purpose of building a stronger community in the neighbor districts. Supporting the identity, the interests and the culture of local populations is a main part of our business strategy.

Our actions to support the social development of these communities include: preventive health programs, computer education, infrastructure, training and equipment for fire prevention brigades, and cultural identity programs.

Within our social efforts, we have also placed special emphasis in improving the green conscience of our surrounding communities through environmental education. Our goal is to have communities that learn how to cherish the natural beauty that is Guanacaste, and more importantly, how to improve their own lives by preserving the environments. As part of these actions, we have worked with local schools using fun and interactive activities for children and implemented recycling campaigns.
